The Instituto Guimarães Rosa at the Brazilian Embassy in Tokyo is proud to present I Will: A Foreign Portrait, a immersive art experience that blurs the lines between dance-theater, cinema, and visual arts. Running from November 14 to December 1, 2025, the exhibition opens its doors with a weekend performance (Nov 14–15) by Brazilian artist Will Lopes, followed by a collaborative vernissage featuring Japanese dancers and visual artists
Through large-format photographs and a dynamic multimedia installation, visitors navigate an audiovisual narrative of a subject in transit. By weekday, the story unfolds on screen; by weekend, Will Lopes inhabits the space, merging live movement with projected imagery and soundscapes.
