Circus, dance & Music Performance

Corpos de LUS is a transdisciplinary artistic project currently having its premiere in Brasília in June. Created by the performer Luli, the title of the project playfully encapsulates the different facets of her life and artistic personality, thus "CorpoS" the different colors of LuS, of the different LuS. In Portuguese, the word “Lus” carries the double connotation of being between light and inner darkness.

Luli acts as a conceptual mastermind and performer, embodying a myriad of identities both in life and as an artist. The project was born when Luli decided to return to her artistic work after becoming a mother. Thus, the work essentially speaks of the feminine and its archetypal demands, always silent and oppressed in the face of patriarchal cultures, but at the same time always resisting and expressing its strength to transcend and flourish through time.

Guided by the direction and dramaturgy of Will Lopes, a talented artist, actor, performer, fitness trainer and theater director based in Vienna, this collaborative venture seamlessly combines electronic music, circus, dance and audiovisual elements. Supported by the FAC Multilinguagen and Conexão Cultura do Brasil program, "Corpos de Lus" is currently in the preparation phase and is looking for partners to carry it out at this stage in Brasíllia.

The project also foresees artistic residencies in Austria, France and Switzerland to be carried out in subsequent phases.
