Created and performed by Will Lopes, this is a poetic and political dance film, theatre, performance, butoh dance, photo exhibition and multimedia installation on immigration. A reflection on the cultural, social and political concept of belonging and acceptance. Based on the poetic testimony of Will Lopes, an immigrant artist who has recently arrived in Austria, the project starts from a personal context, passes through social and political contexts and reaches an archetypal level of conflict.

Kagebara
Butoh dance solo by Will Lopes
The soul lost in the shadow world, the masculine at war, the feminine in oppression, the animal in revolution and the spirit in free flight towards eternal light are the main scenes that compose this solo. The piece recounts the archetypal human search for liberation from the dimensions that enslave us and the encounter with our free existence.
